Job Description: Your opportunity: Opportunity to gain incredible experience in the event coordination of a global blockchain conference Steep learning curve on cutting-edge crypto and blockchain topics, schools of the future and the newest trends in the venture capital industry Flat hierarchies with space for your own ideas in a dynamic, dedicated and motivating environment Offices in Cologne and Aachen; Remote work possible We value genuine good work, we will support you wherever needed Your responsibilities: You are (co-)responsible for the conception, planning and implementation of national and international events, especially conferences inside the crypto space Plan and coordinate logistics for events including contract negotiations, venue preparation, presentation materials, security, catering, speakers, transportation, equipment and marketing materials You will carry out location research, obtain quotations and take over cost control You will reach out to speakers of the crypto, startup and venture capital world You supervise the events on site and ensure the ultimate conference experience for our visitors You will be the person behind the most memorable party of our lives Qualifications: Your profile: 1-2 years of experience in international event management related activities You have a college degree, ideally in the field events, tourism or business management Entrepreneurial mindset and a keen interest in start-ups and blockchain technology Fluent in German and English Previous work experience in a start-up company, event management agency or booking agency Can work independently, in a structured and goal-oriented manner Creativity has no boundaries, you enjoy thinking in unconventional ways Team-oriented and ambitious Love to build professional relationships Plus: already planned and executed conferences before We are happy to receive your application in German or English to karl@xventures.de.
