The goal of the Head of P Marketing is to hire and manage a world-class team to grow user acquisition and product narratives. You are responsible for performance marketing and executing Coinbase’s go-to-market product and feature messaging and developing key success metrics, while keeping abreast of the competitive set’s product development. You will leverage your communication, analytical, and marketing skills in order to achieve qualitative and quantitative organizational goals. You will serve as trusted adviser to executives throughout the organization.

What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):

  • Manage and lead a team that will own, develop and implement a world-class acquisition marketing and product marketing strategy for Coinbase’s products.
  • Establish our short and long term strategy for growing awareness and accelerating adoption of Coinbase products.
  • Lead a team that will identify, test, measure and optimize various marketing channels in order to grow the company’s top-line while maintaining excellent LTV/CAC ratios.
  • Manage a team of product marketers who will craft communication of value propositions, messages, positioning and core content product features to Coinbase audiences in a variety of mediums between technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Leverage cross-functional teams to develop roadmaps, define MVPs, develop positioning, define value propositions, establish KPIs and improve performance for our go-to-market plans.

What we look for in you (ie. job requirements):

  • 10+ years of Product Marketing and/or Growth Marketing experience successfully launching products within both a B2B & B2C context.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience building and leading high-performance teams.
  • Exceptional working knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, including: television, email marketing, SEO & SEM, and social platforms.
  • Excellent team player with a track record of building and growing solid teams. You have the ability to hire and develop the best, and grow people on your team to be the next set of leaders in our organization.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple ambiguous deadlines and projects in a fast moving environment.
  • Ability to concisely synthesize complex issues for exec leadership, including: articulating program recommendations and tradeoffs.
  • Advise product managers throughout the org on product development & needs / wants of institutions and advanced traders.
