This experienced Chief of Staff will play an important role in steering the CLO’s most critical initiatives with efficiency and speed while maintaining the operational and tactical rhythm of the business, owning process and strategic objectives are met in a timely fashion. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and project managing a diverse range of strategic projects and initiatives which are critical to the future growth of the Legal, Trust & Risk department.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Support and run strategic programs including data-gathering and reporting, developing a rapid hiring and onboarding program to meet our organization’s growth plans.
  • Steer alignment around setting strategy, forming a plan with clear goals and asks, executing and monitoring progress.
  • Work to utilize time strategically with Commercial Operations and cross-functional teams, helping to set the priorities and keep the team on target.
  • Serve as the main Point-of-Contact for key initiatives and inbound requests from leads and members of other cross-functional teams.
  • Identify issues across the organization and create initiatives to solve them. Guide leadership towards clear, efficient and accountable decision-making following these external interactions.
  • Develop and execute executive-level communications and messaging to educate and influence stakeholders
  • Deliver cost/benefit and risk analyses, identify dependencies and push prioritization discussions to ensure people leadership is making informed, aligned decisions and commitments
  • Own the change management of large-scale initiatives and programs, ensuring the right audiences receive the right information at the right time
  • Communicate priorities, activities, and results to the People Leadership team and larger organization, while ensuring deliverables are met. Have a solid pulse and feedback loop on organizational needs

What we look for in you:

  • The ideal candidate has both hands-on experience and leadership gravitas in the following areas: planning & process, product and/or financial planning, organizational structure and change, communications & strategy execution.
  • 7+ years of experience in a combination of management consulting, operations, strategy, consulting or an equivalent field. This role requires past experience in managing resourcing/staffing, and having worked directly with the C-suite / senior level on a regular basis.
  • Proven ability to track, prioritize, and steer multiple concurrent projects to success using data to track progress along the way.
  • Excellent communicator in written and verbal form; ability to work well with executives, and able to manage and influence across multiple levels and multiple functions of an organization
  • Entrepreneurial, with high tolerance for ambiguity and complexity, and efficient with limited resources.
  • Proven experience designing and leading strategic planning at a hyper-growth company.
  • Financial prowess and ability to create budgets, models, etc.
